Telluride Wine Festival Description
The 25th Annual Telluride Wine Festival offers food and wine enthusiasts an unforgettable four-day event with a rare opportunity to meet winemakers, celebrity chefs, and sommeliers for an unparalleled educational and epicurean experience.
The Festival artist, Sally Strand, will kick off the festival on Thursday afternoon with a preview of her original painting created especially for the 2006 Telluride Wine Festival. Autographed posters and other works by Sally will be available for purchase.
Festival highlights include Winemaker's Luncheons; the Grand Tasting - An Outdoor Escapade - held in Town Park; Cooking Demonstrations and Seminars; the Toast of Telluride & Mountain Village; and the Sunday Gourmet Brunch in Town Park, which is the Festival's lively finale. Please note: Seminar times and locations are subject to change.
A few of our guest chefs for this June are: Vitaly Paley winner of the 2005 James Beard Award for Best chef of the Northwest and owner of Paley's Place in Portland Oregon; Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson co-owner with Bobby Stucky of Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado, and; Ana Sortun of Oleana in Boston and winner of the 2005 James Beard Award for Best Chef of the Northeast. Additional chefs have yet to be confirmed, updates will be available at telluridewinefestival.com.
This year we will be offering four weekend packages: Patron Pass, Friday Weekend Package, Saturday Weekend Package, and the new Tasting Package. The Patron pass gives you access and priority seeting to all festival events excluding the four reserve tastings. All package holders will be able to go to any regular seminar (after Patrons on a first come first serve basis).

Discounted Weekend Packages are available with the purchase of lodging at the Inn at Lost Creek. Telluride’s premier luxury boutique hotel features 32 exquisitely designed suites and acclaimed 9545 Restaurant. This special discounted wine package cannot be purchased online. Please call the Inn at Lost Creek for room types and pricing and to purchase a discounted Weekend Package at 888-601-5678.
The registration and will-call office will be open June 21 - 26 at the Sheridan Opera House, to pick up your Wine Festival tickets. The address for mailing to the Wine Festival is PO Box 1677, Telluride, Colorado 81435. You will be required to show your email receipt along with a current ID for proof of age. Each ticket holder must pick up his or her own tickets with a current form of ID and wear a wristband during the Festival. Call 970-728-3178 if you have questions.
There is a 2.5% handling fee on all ticket purchases. Program schedule is subject to change. Tickets are non-refundable.
